me, an intellectual
assalamualaikum.
so i got my spm results today.......... and they were GREAT! definitely better than i imagined it going but that is likely due to the fact that i tend to think of the worst case scenario at all times. (i should really stop doing that.) alhamdulillah, praise Allah, i ended up with good enough results that i don't feel horrible about myself. in fact, i ended up with good enough results that i actually feel proud of myself. IN FACT, I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF THAT I EVEN SCANNED IT HERE LOOK AT IT LoOOOOoOooK
am i bragging too much? i'm sorry. it's just that considering my academic history throughout the first 4 years of high school, i never would have thought this is how my results would end up. so i'm very happy. i'm happy that i proved myself wrong, i'm happy that i didn't make my parents regret all that money they put into my tuition fee, i'm happy that i can finally submit my UPU application with (some) confidence, i'm happy that i put smiles on my teachers' faces. things are just good and happy right now. i'm grateful.
anyway, some of the more notable things that happened today:
1. i got to school later than the majority of my schoolmates so i didn't get to go up on stage and take pics and have people clap for me and see all my teachers cry in happiness (ok they wouldn't have cried let's be real)
2. ain told me she jerit really loud when they called my name and everyone thought she was the one being called up on stage hahahahaha i love her and i'm sad that i couldn't be there in time so i could jerit for her
3. ustazah jamiza congratulated me and she said something along the lines of "tak sia-sia awak selalu tolong cikgu. memang lah penat kadang-kadang tapi ada hikmahnya." so i was very :""""") i hope she finds a class monitor that meets the standards i have set lol
4. cikgu norlida bought us KFC (YAS MOTHER.) it was either to congratulate us for our good results or to comfort us in case it was bad hahahahaha i shall not ask.
5. cikgu rodiyah congratulated me and said "tak sia-sia awak duk depan muka cikgu walaupun cikgu cakap bm, awak speaking." lololololololol i love her
7. most of my friends got good results too so i'm even happier that we can all be happy together
talking about my actual results tho:
1. i really wasn't expecting an A+ for english because i felt like my essay fell a little flat + i rushed the ending+ it wasn't as long as i hoped it would be but thank God for whoever marked my paper.
2. sejarah A- YA ALLAH ALHAMDULILLAH WALAUPUN SOALAN SPOT TAK KELUAR PASTU KBAT PERGI SEMBUNYI KAT MANA ENTAH PASTU KENA HENTAM PASTU SOALAN OBJEKTIF BANYAK SALAH i'm so relieved
3. maths A+...................................................... if you asked me just last year, i would have told you that i am only average at maths but cikgu rosnita and teacher ani have done wonders for me that i managed to achieve that score................. i'm shook
4. ADDMATHS B GILA KAU OMG TAK PERCAYA YANG BENDA NI POSSIBLE gred addmaths turun time spm though so honestly that was just my luck...... though there were people who normally used to be better than me at addmaths but their results were less than that so maybe i became an addmaths senpai overnight masa jawab haritu. (unlikely.) pape pun, all my gratitude goes to teacher ani (again) and cikgu mimi; both who sentiasa bersabar dengan soalan-soalan bodoh i and terpaksa ulang balik jalan kerja lol i'm so sorry but i'm so thankful
5. akaun A oh ma gaaaaaaaad this was honestly a huge surprise because the questions were RIDICULOUS and they changed everything and i made lots of careless mistakes and i was never all that great at accounts in the first place so i was honestly like ???????????????????? truly, the only reason i ever enjoyed accounts was because i was lucky enough to get cikgu norlida as my teacher
6. i got a B+ for physics which is good considering i normally get Cs and Bs. cikgu jasimin was still kinda salty though hahahahahahaha. taking into account that i never really enjoyed physics all that much other than having cikgu jasimin teaching, i'm satisfied.
7. last but definitely not least, cheMISTRY A+!!!!!! kssndiudbcjnkWBIEBIH#BINqksjiwbecn OMGDDJCowiscoiwnsocwscv tf I DID THAT! ME! KHAIRIN ZAHRAN! I DID THAT! THAT! I DID! i was only hoping for an A at the very least because i didn't want to disappoint myself or cikgu mariam or sir and thankfully, i didn't.
anyway, i'm gonna have to stop this mess of a blogpost here.

CIKGU MARIAM CONGRATULATED ME JDCNWUDIJWDKC this is just a slightly bigger deal because she's my chem teacher and chem is my fav subject and she said it's been a while since one of her students got an A+ for chem so im vvvvvv happy that i made her proud hahaha she said now she can name-drop me to her current students hahahahahahaha idk if it's a good thing that that made me so happy
